Carlo De Gaetano

Carlo De Gaetano is a designer and researcher with the Visual Methodologies Collective at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, with a background in visual and information design. Carlo plays with fiction to evoke reflections about the interconnectedness between humans, nature, and other beings. He curates and explores audiovisual collections from archives and online spaces to understand how bodies of water in the Netherlands and their ecosystems are presented. He also facilitates workshops in which these collections are activated through climate fiction-making to imagine alternative future ways of living with the more-than-human.
